Retail Supply Chain Management Summer Camp
The Retail Supply Chain Management Summer Camp is a residential program for high school students and is coordinated by the Supply Chain Management Research Center and the Center for Retailing Excellence within the Sam M. Walton College of Business on the University of Arkansas campus.
Summer Camp Overview
The program is geared toward high school students that have an interest in learning more about supply chain management, logistics, and retailer or supplier related industries.
The curriculum will focus on introductions to commerce, supply chain, and consumer behavior. Students will have an opportunity to tour related top companies in Northwest Arkansas, and hear from industry leaders as well as Walton faculty. Most importantly, students will walk away with an understanding of the opportunities, innovation concepts, and thought leadership in these fields. The program will culminate with students giving a presentation on a mini-case study to their peers, families, and other guests.
Students will be supervised by camp counselors and will reside in a residential hall on the U of A campus. Transportation will be provided to and from camp field trips. Parents and/or legal guardians are responsible for transportation to and from the camp.
Entry into the camp is highly competitive and participants will be selected based on the information provided on their application.
