What does it mean to be a Certified Transportation Logistics (CTL) Professional?

• AST&L is a professional organization founded in 1946 by a group of industry leaders to insure a high level of professionalism and to promote continuing education in the field of transportation and logistics.
• Walton College Transportation and Logistics graduating seniors are eligible to take advantage of the CTL certification.  In addition, AST&L has teamed up with APICS so graduates can have a dual membership in both organizations.   Walton College is a certified AST&L program, so students do not have to sit for the exam, but do need to pay the testing and membership fee. Start your career with a college degree, professional certification and membership in two professional organizations!

• Obtaining a professional industry credential with their degree lets a current or potential employer know they have gone an additional step in their commitment to the profession.
• Studies show a professional credential increases salaries by 10 to 20%

RILA offers a global certification program designed for inventory replenishment and order forecasting professionals. Graduates of the MBA program with a focus in Logistics and graduates of the Logistics PhD program are well prepared to take this challenging and well respected certification.
