Orr Chair and Professor of Management) has been affiliated with the University of Arkansas since 1984. Before that, she was a researcher in Austin, Texas and at the Survey Research Center of the University of Michigan. Dr. Gupta specializes in reward and compensation systems in both her research and teaching. She has received Outstanding paper awards from both the Academy of Management and the Southern Management Association, and has given Invited Addresses at major national associations such as the American Psychological Association. She currently serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior and Compensation and Benefits Review, and reviews for most major journals. Dr. Gupta's work has been published in the major academic journals (e.g., Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology) and practitioner outlets (e.g., National Productivity Review, Compensation and Benefits Review). Her work has been funded by, among others, the U.S. Department of Labor, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institute of Education. |
